/ An opulent photobook, with amusing and informative texts

/ A must-have for all cycling fans

Cycling embodies physical extremes, human emotions, and thrilling landscapes. For decades, photographers—ranging from Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson to Chris Steele-Perkins—have been fascinated by the great races. In this handsome publication, fifteen MAGNUM photographers capture the most expressive moments of the cycling events of their times. The images are accompanied by expert commentaries and anecdotes by Guy Andrews.

This richly illustrated book is a celebration of the great artists who have captured those most fugitive elements in cycling: the personalities, emotions, and human endurance.

MAGNUM PHOTOS is an international cooperative of independent photographers that was founded in 1947 by Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson, among others.

Guy Andrews is the founder and former publisher of the British magazine Rouleur. He has written several books on cycling.
